Liebeslied

„My angel, my all, my very self“; Beethoven thus idolizes his „immortal beloved“ in his now famous love letter.
He contemporaneously composed his 8th symphony, whose exuberance inspired ensemble reflektor to write a love letter of their own.
Here, the ensemble connects Beethoven’s 8th with the Liebeswalzer of Brahms and pop songs from Nena, Whitney Houston and Roberta Flack – along with love letters, that the orchestra musicians have written and received in the course of their own lives.

In 2020, the album „Liebeslied“ was released by PASCHENrecords.
