Gewaltakt

Despair, aggression, reconciliation – the emotional web that weaves through the experiences of violence is complex. Inspired by Ludwig van Beethoven’s 5th symphony, the musicians of ensemble reflektor grapple with their darker feelings. The conflict that is concealed behind the works connects with the personal experiences of the musicians. Pain, suffering and desperation leave the confines of abstraction and enter the realm of visceral experience.

In 2019, „Gewaltakt“ was released as the debut album of ensemble reflektor by PASCHENrecords.
